Choosing words to define your brand make finding your direction easier, whether it’s choosing graphics or tagline copy. When you drill down into the words that define your project, you can use those terms to create an abstract feel for the piece.
An example is a songwriter/spoken word event that I was doing and I chose the words: spirit, story, wonder, wisdom, poetry.
I could have just as easily chosen: sparkly, words, language, glitter, fun.
